2018- We stopped to see Target Field on the way home from a 4th of July trip in South Dakota. Quick trip, stadium was much better than the original Metrodome!

(My First Trip 2009): Great story here.  It was close to my anniversary.  I told my husband all I wanted was to see the White Sox play the Twins in their final game at the Metrodome.  Told him that my present would be to let me go (and debit everything) and not to give me a hard time about it.  He agreed (easy gift for him).

 

So...the morning of the game I got up early and drove the 5 1/2 hours to the stadium.  Watched some batting practice, talked to some folks and watched the game from 11 rows behind homeplate.  I left the day game and made it the 5 1/2 hours home in time to get Jack from soccer practice.  Same day.  Solo.
