Themed Runs
Most of these are "fun runs" that are untimed. Some are just a flat out ball. As you can see from this page, I've run quite a bit of these with my kids and awesome friends!
Cemetary Run
My family ran a fun run inside Rosehill Cemetary AT NIGHT! It was extremely dark! But peaceful and a blast!
In 2015 I got to run it again with my good friend Jason. In 2017 Abby and I ran together. On the way to the race we saw a double rainbow!
Color Run
We ran this race this summer. Everyone has to run at least one color run. I strapped a GoPro camera to my chest to capture the festivities!
Ditka Dash
This race was a ton of fun! So grateful I have friends willing to do these runs with me! 2015 was the 3rd time I've run this race. This year Abby joined me!
Electric Race
An untimed race at night downtown. This was a great race with electric displays and a rave at the end.
Foam Race
This race sounds funner than it really was. It turned out to be a giant mud race with a terrible slide at the end. My friend Becky's truck got stuck like many others and had to be towed out of the mud. This was fun to do once but is a one-and-done!
Santa Hustle
A fun race with the kids. The "water" stations featured cups of candy and cookies!
Turkey Trot
The kids and I ran a Turkey Trot the first Thanksgiving morning after my mom died. It was a nice way to start the day. I love racing with the kids!
